PRESS RELEASE

MedFit Network Announces J.R. Burgess as CEO

(COSTA MESA, CA, September 10, 2020) – MedFit Network (MFN) announced J.R. Burgess joins the company as Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to joining MedFit Network, Burgess served as CEO of Rejuv Medical. At the helm of Rejuv, Burgess played an integral role in replicating their integrated model of care in more than 150 clinics worldwide. Each clinic aimed at redefining healthcare, empowering medical leaders and patients to co-create health and impact the world.

Burgess also serves as the CEO of HealthOvators, where he guides physicians and medical professionals in building a proven new model of healthcare – one that is outcome-driven, affordable, sustainable, profitable and desperately needed to help patients restore and regenerate health.

“I couldn’t be more excited to welcome JR to a leadership position with this project.  I will still remain the founder of the MedFit Network and the CEO of the sister non-profit organization, MedFit Education Foundation,” says Lisa Dougherty, “The membership database and specialized education opportunities have created a foundation that will allow us to begin the next phase of helping professionals integrate systems and strategies that allow for affordable, effective and sustainable care.

“Lisa’s relentless pursuit of bringing forth this mission has always inspired me, and matches my passion for believing that medical fitness is the only solution to go from managed care to true healthcare,” says Burgess, “Our strategic plan for 2021 is dedicated to implementing action steps that help our members and beyond fill in the gaps that have prevented successful adoption and integration of medical fitness worldwide. Next-level fitness and healthcare need a next-level business model.”

MedFit believes the current state of uncertainty that the healthcare and fitness industries face requires even more diligent focus and leadership from medical and health professionals to formulate cooperative solutions that help people take control of their health. MedFit has been given an opportunity to communicate making health the top priority for the first time.
