POLAR partners with the Medical Fitness Network to Support a National Registry of Fitness Professionals

(June 28, 2016) Newport Beach, CA. – The Medical Fitness Network (MFN) has partnered with POLAR and will be working with top education companies in the fitness industry to build a registry of qualified fitness professionals for medical and health organizations. This national project was recently acknowledged by the White House Champions of Change Making for 2016 for its community service work.

POLAR believes in the importance of exercise to prevent, treat, and rehabilitate those with chronic disease or medical conditions. As the population ages, research shows that there is a significant increase in obesity, chronic disease and individuals with multiple medical conditions.  POLAR will be sponsoring one hundred (100) fitness professional memberships for this directory. These professionals will be chosen based on their education in chronic disease/medical conditions or working with aging population and this directory donated & maintained for medical foundations across the nation.

Lisa Dougherty, Founder of MFN says:  “We are excited to work with POLAR. They are a long-standing, respectable company in the fitness industry. Having them work with us, our education partners and medical & health organization partners to grow this registry of qualified fitness professionals will help serve those in need with health challenges to find help with an exercise plan.”

“We are pleased to support the MFN’s efforts in providing & maintaining a free registry to locate specialized fitness professionals in various communities,” says Danielle Lapierre, Vice President of Sales for POLAR. “Developing the right exercise program is an important step in improving overall quality of life.  Being able to help connect these individuals to outstanding fitness professionals across the country will be a win-win for everyone.”
