The RehabGYM is a medically oriented gym, fully integrating proactive care and rehab care in one space. We can help manage the health of all people on the spectrum of ability and heath through billable patient care, membership, one on one fitness coaching and classes.

What makes your facility different from other medically oriented facilities?

Physical therapists and Athletic Trainers are best equipped to exercise people safely and effectively, especially those with medical conditions that challenge activity and fitness.

The RehabGYM sponsors Community athletic events such as races and athletic teams of all ages.

rehab-gym1What would you like to see change/develop/emerge in the future of healthcare and the fitness industry?

We need Doctors educated and practicing true preventative care – recognizing exercise and nutrition as medicine. Primary care MDs need to support their patients in taking ownership of their health and health insurance should reimburse effective medical fitness programs.

And what are you doing to make this happen?

Working on outcomes in our programs to present to insurers and doctors to get their respect and support. I am also working with the Vermont legislature to change sick care to true health care.

Does your business have a motto, if so, what is it?

Bodies in motion…stay in motion.
