Let’s FACE It Together™!

Do you long to look and feel younger by the day? Are you searching for non-invasive ways to turn back the hands of time and prolong the onset of disease?

You are not alone!

The research is in! Practicing repetitive facial movements and exaggerated expressions activates and builds muscle that tightens skin, reduces wrinkles, eradicates fine lines, and in turn, improves confidence. In addition, increasing facial muscle strength and improving neuropathways that control movement slows the onset of various diseases such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, Multiple Sclerosis, and more. Those suffering from strokes, paralysis, Bell’s palsy, TMJ, or speech impediments are experiencing improved facial control and the ability to create verbal and non-verbal expressions.

How does this work?

Facial fitness utilizes the same principles of exercise science when designing a full-body workout and applies it to facial and neck muscles. Exercises are designed to target and engage specific muscles in your forehead, eyes, cheeks, mouth, jaw, and neck.

Try this!

To improve fine lines or “crow’s feet” around the eyes and improve muscle control due to paralysis, practice “Surprise Eyes.” Stand in front of a mirror and open the eyes as wide as possible.

Then, squint the eyes until they are barely open. Do this for 30 seconds for 3 rounds with a 15-second rest in between each set.

Be mindful not to wrinkle your forehead or move any other part of your face to ensure you are targeting the correct muscle group.

After 3-4 weeks of infusing a daily facial fitness routine, muscle elasticity increases, fine lines fade, and range of motion improves.
